Our projects are being completed at a steady rate with new projects being added regularly. Any one of these projects needs support and welcomes ownership from any school or organisation that wants to partner with us to reverse poverty and give students an even larger worldview. Together we can make life better.
Everyone needs a roof over their head and a place to call home. We help provide shelter by providing new homes to very needy people in developing countries and by helping to provide a safe place for orphans.
One of the largest needs in the world is access to clean water. People often have to travel long distances in very high temperatures to access filthy water that can potentially kill. Clean water is essential for a healthy life and our new UN water pumps make it happen.
Human trafficking is modern-day slavery. It involves one person controlling another and exploiting them for work. Victims are trapped physically, psychologically, financially and emotionally. Greenaid works with our partners on the ground to do something about stopping this.
Slum areas are overloaded with disease and people are desperate for medication and consequently cheap pirate medication shops creep into these locations selling fake medications that can kill. We are combating this by providing legitimate medication in these areas.
So many orphanages simply do not have the finance to feed the children. Greenaid helps feed desperate hungry children in feeding programs in India, the Philippines and Nairobi.
One of our passions is to look after children without families. One of the ways that Greenaid is making life better is by giving these children a birthday party.
For people living in extreme poverty, one day is pretty much like the rest. But when opportunity knocks, everything can change. The opportunity to run a pedicab or moto-taxi, the chance to run your own shop selling food, dresses or souvenirs means life will never be the same again.
One of the best ways to escape the poverty cycle is to obtain an education. Education provides children with a skill set to become adults who can gain qualifications to choose a better path.
