It’s really straight forward.
One box of Greenaid strips sells for $3.00.
$1.50 goes towards Greenaid projects that assist children in need, locally, nationally and internationally . It also covers the production of the strips, sales and prizes for the winners within your school. We then get to work working with locals to get the help to people who need it most.
Wamberal Public School successfully partnered with Greenaid Relief in 2012 to raise funds for overseas missions and for our school’s building program.
It was my understanding that this exciting venture was a first for a government school on the central coast of NSW.
The support, planning, promotions and benefits were numerous. The success of such was mainly due to the regional, in-school and Greenaid Relief organisational support offered and employed by the school.
The philosophy underpinning this fundraising concept reflected the values and established philanthropic culture of Wamberal Public School. It was rewarding to be able to promote tangible support for a community in Africa and to broaden the school’s missionary support for peoples from cultures beyond our local community.
I appreciated the opportunity to work with Greenaid Relief and recommend their fundraising work to other schools who can embrace their work and their principals.

Heatherton Christian College has just completed involvement in the sterile strip fund raiser through Green Aid. It has been our most successful fund raising venture in the history of the school, by far. I think what sets this fund raiser apart is the actual product, sterile strips. It is a unique fund raising product, an essential item that everyone needs. The size of the packet is ideal for handbags, it is priced reasonably and most people approached are more than happy to purchase a few packets.
It is a far more appealing product to sell than the traditional chocolate drive types of products. The prizes on offer for the most packets sold, catchy packaging and extra support from those administering it all add up to a winning formula.
I highly recommend this fund raiser for any organisation.

“At Keilor Heights we found the fundraiser to be enormously successful because the whole community could see that monies went towards a good cause assisting disadvantaged students. The fact the school raised funds as well was a bonus. Greenaid were supportive in conducting this fundraiser with clear information in a reader friendly format that was understood by everybody. The team at Greenaid were available to assist us when we required advice and support.”
